Hotel Engel in Nova Levante is the first Ayurvedic hotel in the Dolomites—a unique place where Alpine tradition and Ayurvedic philosophy come together to offer a profound and conscious wellness experience. Set within the natural landscape of Val d’Ega, at the foot of the Catinaccio massif, the hotel interprets hospitality as a journey toward balance between body, mind, and environment.

The spaces of Hotel Engel are designed to welcome and regenerate, through a language that brings together nature, silence, and attention to detail. Here, the Dolomites landscape becomes an integral part of the experience, accompanying guests on a stay that goes beyond simple relaxation, transforming into a true journey of harmony and well-being.

The intervention carried out at Hotel Engel in Nova Levante involved several areas of the property, helping to reinforce its unique identity as the first Ayurvedic hotel in the Dolomites. The external facades and selected interior walls were enhanced through the use of Pietra Dolomia^®, chosen for its ability to engage in dialogue with the natural landscape and to convey a sense of balance and solidity.

In the bathrooms of the common areas, stone defines essential and harmonious environments, in keeping with the wellness philosophy that characterizes the hotel. A central role is given to spaces dedicated to meeting and conviviality: the show cooking counter, the fireplace positioned at the heart of the lobby with the adjacent counter dedicated to teas and herbal infusions, and the counter within the Michelin-starred Johannesstube restaurant. In these settings, material becomes an architectural and sensory element, accompanying the guest experience with elegance and natural ease.
