Hotel Faloria

At Hotel Faloria in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a five-star property set within the iconic scenery of the Dolomites, Pietra Dolomia® accompanies a significant design journey developed over time.
The intervention stems from the desire to enhance the hotel’s identity through a natural material capable of expressing elegance, solidity, and aesthetic continuity, in perfect dialogue with the Alpine context and contemporary architecture.

Stone becomes a central element in the hotel’s most representative spaces, defining areas dedicated to reception and conviviality—from the bar counter to the lobby, and through to the pool surfaces, where floors and facades contribute to creating a refined and timeless atmosphere. Each intervention was developed on a bespoke basis, adapting forms, finishes, and technical solutions to the project’s functional and aesthetic requirements.

The design journey continues into more intimate areas dedicated to well-being, from the guestroom bathrooms—with custom-made basins and wall claddings—to a large portion of the wellness area, including the wellness counter and a selection of design objects such as side tables in various shapes and sizes distributed throughout the hotel’s spaces. An integrated project in which Pietra Dolomia® accompanies the guest experience, transforming natural material into a coherent and enduring architectural language.
