Hotel Recort

Set within the landscape of Alta Badia, Hotel Recort interprets contemporary Alpine hospitality through a refined and coherent use of Pietra Dolomia^®. The project was born from close collaboration with the client and the architectural firm, with the aim of creating elegant, authentic environments deeply connected to the surrounding natural context.

Stone becomes the common thread running through the interior spaces, shaped into fully bespoke solutions—from the reception counter to the buffet and food/herbal tea counters in the wellness area, from the pool walls to the fireplace cladding in the lobby. Surfaces, formats, and finishes were developed ad hoc to engage in dialogue with light, water, and the warm materials of the interior design, ensuring both aesthetic and functional continuity.

The project is completed by interventions rich in detail and character: wall cladding and flooring for the vinery, custom-made basins, walls in the lobby bathrooms and in the wellness and common areas, as well as a series of design objects—side tables of various shapes and sizes—distributed throughout the hotel. An integrated intervention in which Pietra Dolomia^® accompanies every space, transforming natural material into a sensory and architectural experience.
